August 27, 2024 UPDATE: We have been working with MOBIUS on testing the new OpenRS platform. They have experienced issues with testing and configuring the software for multiple library environments, such as ours with Bettendorf Public Library and the RiverShare Libraries consortium. We are hopeful that those issues will be resolved in the coming weeks. We sincerely apologize for this continued service disruption. See below for information on requesting library materials that are not available at The Library.

July 26, 2024 UPDATE: We are still in the process of converting to the new MOBIUS OpenRS platform and appreciate your patience. We anticipate restoring full interlibrary loan service in August.

June 12, 2024 UPDATE: Some member libraries were able to begin using the new OpenRS platform; however, Davenport Public Library and Bettendorf Public Library were not included due to issues involving configuration of our current Integrated Library System. We are awaiting response from our vendor in order to proprerly configure our systems. Thank you for your patience.

On April 18, 2024, MOBIUS discontinued access to the existing resource sharing tool, INN-Reach, to begin migrating to a new open source platform tool: OpenRS. The new service was expected to launch on May 22; however, requires some further testing and configuration. Access to MOBIUS is coming soon!

In the meantime, Davenport Public Library patrons can stop by or call The Library at (563) 326-7832 to request materials.

A few things to note:

  • Requests are limited to a maximum of three per week.
  • You will not be able to see your request(s) until the item has arrived at The Library for pickup.
  • Requests are expected to be filled in the same timeframe as the past, about two weeks.
