The Outreach Wheeled Library (OWL) brings library services directly to the community through partnerships with senior living facilities, schools, early learning centers, and a variety of community events.

FRIENDS Bookstores

The FRIENDS of the Davenport Public Library sell gently used and new books to support the full range of programming at The Library. A diverse selection of hardcover and paperback books is available, along with movies, magazines, and the occasional puzzle or game. Your support is greatly appreciated!

In alignment with the 2022-2024 Strategic Plan to better reach underserved communities, The Library, in collaboration with Davenport Parks & Recreation, FRIENDS of the Davenport Public Library, and 5-2-1-0 Healthy Choices Count, has established three StoryWalks® in public parks in 2024.
