FRIENDS Used Bookstores
The FRIENDS of the Davenport Public Library sell gently used and new books to support the full range of programming at The Library. A diverse selection of hardcover and paperback books are available, along with movies, magazines, and the occasional puzzle or game. Your support is greatly appreciated!

The FRIENDS gladly accept donations of gently used books for sale in the bookstore. Please note: Donations of large quantities, such as three or more boxes of books, are accepted only on Mondays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 pm.

In alignment with the 2022-2024 Strategic Plan to better reach underserved communities, The Library, in collaboration with Davenport Parks & Recreation, FRIENDS of the Davenport Public Library, and 5-2-1-0 Healthy Choices Count, established three StoryWalks® in public parks in 2024:
-StoryWalk® is an initiative that encourages people to enjoy nature while reading a story along the way!
