The Library offers various reading challenges throughout the year for readers of all ages. Most challenges can be completed on paper or virtually via Beanstack.
Below is a list of our current and upcoming reading challenges.
Winter Reading Challenge: Be a Reading Machine!
January 1-31, 2025 | All Ages
As you reflect on the past year and set new reading goals, log your reading days to earn badges on your virtual bingo card! For logging the days you read, you will earn fun, new badges. Earn bingo by completing 4-in-a-row, column, or diagonal and get 10 bonus tickets! Be sure to enter your tickets into our grand prize drawings by January 31 for your chance to win one of our grand prizes!
2025 Online Reading Challenge: Genres
January 1 - December 31, 2025 | Ages 18+
Spend the year reading a different genre each month. Read the suggested title for the month, or choose one on your own. This reading challenge is low-pressure and ideal for someone who wants to read more.
Bookmark logs are available at Library desks.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Ages 0-6
Enjoy reading 1000 books with your little ones! Log reading and earn badges and prizes all along the way. Visit the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten page for more information.
