Are you looking for help with your homework?  The Library has lots of ways to help you out.

DPL's Reference Librarians are research experts and are available by phone, text, email or in person to help you find the resources you need, teach you how to use the library's free online databases and more. 

To access the online databases:

  • Click on Research Tools tab located at the top of www.davenportlibrary.com
  • Select Online Resources from the Research Tool's menu
  • Scroll down the alphabetical list of resources until you find what you need
  • For most online resources, you will need to enter your Davenport Public Library barcode number upon first entering the site

Tutor.com --online tutors to help with all subjects including math & science. They will even proofread papers!

MangoLanguages --practice a language for class or learn one for fun! Over 70 languages available including Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Pirate and ESL options.

Masterfile Premier --easiest way to research for a project! Download PDFs of from journals & magazines and use the citation tool to make creating a bibliography oh-so-easy.
